What you need to know
The office is closed most major holidays and between 11:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M. each workday for lunch. When the office is closed, please feel free to leave a message on the office voice mail and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.
appointments
Clients are seen by appointment only since a law practice frequently requires my appearances in Courts throughout Southern Indiana. Do not drop by without an appointment. Please call for an appointment in advance. I will always try to accommodate your schedule if possible and always strive to promptly honor your appointment time. Once you have made an appointment, it is your responsibility to remember it. Appointments on Saturday mornings and outside of normal office hours can be arranged when necessary.
Cancellation of appointments
If you cannot keep an appointment, please call to reschedule. If you fail to call and do not appear at your appointment, you are inconveniencing the office and other clients and may be charged for the appointment.
fees
During your initial consultation, an important issue is a thorough understanding of the fee that will be charged. The type of problem you present determines the fee structure that will be used during my representation of you. Some cases, such as divorce and criminal defense are generally handled on a flat rate, while other types of matters can only be undertaken on an hourly rate. Bodily or personal injury cases are often taken on a contingency fee basis, where a percentage of the recovery is retained. In all cases, the fee will be confirmed in writing.
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
